If anybody wasn't excited about Lakers/Celtics
Check out this footage of the two whitest players in the history of the NBA going at it in 1984. The footage is low quality, but you can still see the clothesline along with Rambis's sweet shades and 'stache. Also note Basketball Jesus playing peacemaker, as he always was in all thing Non-Laimbeer.

The Lakers have to be seen as heavy, heavy favorites. There will be no question who's the best player on the court. And that player will make the difference and bring the title to LA, again. Sounds like Pineapple is trying to help the Lakers with a reverse jinx maneuver. It's just not necessary.
One game in and I'm looking (regretably) pretty smart. And while I'm not above attempting a reverse jinx, i predicted the Lakers to beat the Spurs easily and wish I could do so here.

the strength of the home court continues. pierce and garnett can't be counted on to have such abysmal games again. but then again kobe and gasol normally would have had another 10 pts on the free throws they missed.
PC, i told you the lakers needed more sasha and turiaf. sasha is the second athlete they need out there; a poor man's manu, perhaps.
