As much as it would have made for a great fourth of July (if he would have come in the first place) the fact that he's not coming isn't nearly as depressing as this line: "His satire is probably something that we didn’t feel suited our small-town atmosphere."

Like half of the "office ladies" at S & A are from Colbert. I've been talking up this pronunciation change for years.
Colbert is totally going to seize on this. Matter of fact I may hit up Colbert Nation with this myself...
