obviously the emmys have always had a skewed eye for quality programming; no newsflash there. but i don't know about this action.
the shows with the most nominations: desperate housewives, will & grace, and everybody loves raymond. i mean, i don't think any of those shows suck really bad... but they all kind of suck.

though i haven't watched it in a year or so, i must confess that i enjoy the gilmore girls. sometimes the mom/daughter "quick witted dialogue" gets a little contrived, but overall it's a good show.

i agree that reality tv kinda sucks, and i try to steer clear of it. but a show can definitely reel me in. case in point is the new real world (which i hadn't watched since puck and pedro). it's dumb, but i'm hooked.

I think Lorelai's hotter, but all the boys I know love Rory.
Except when Lorelai goes through her animal print silk shirt phase. She looked kinda trashy then.
What first pops into one's mind upon hearing the words "Reality TV" are The Apprentice, Survivor, Big Brother, etc. And those shows suck. But I will defend Project Runway and RW (depending on the season/city, and not counting the Inferno, guy vs. girl, RW/RR challenge things) to the death.
i prefer "america's next top model" and "celebrity fit club".
no, this is not sad and pathetic at all.
i've only watched a few episodes, but i like the apprentice. people really crack in that boardroom.
