check out this first hand account of how it went down, from the guy who first reported it. as usual with this administration, it's not a conspiracy, just utter incompetence. occam's razor is vindicated again. but the stuff about intelligence interrogators is chilling.

See, I don't know about absolutely not a conspiracy. Since the exact same shit is going on in every prison we've jammed a bunch of Middle-Eastern dudes in. I don't think it's a well-organized conspiracy, and it's certainly not top to bottom, but I'm with Sy Hersh that there's some kind of something going on at the administrative level.
