TV
I agree with Senor Huevos on The Wire's place in TV history. Here are some of my other favorites...
1. Ring of Fire
2. Manimal
3. V
4. In Search Of...
5. The Master
6. B.J. and the Bear
7. Cheers...duh

mcsquared, you were like 6 minutes old when most of the shows aired. go on and list "boy meets world" like you know you want to.
actually i was between 5 and 10 for most of these. and i fully remember having masturbatory thoughts about Diana in V. so there...
granted, i saw in search of and ring of fire in the rerun stages...

While I wholehearted agree with all the shows listed by both you and Huevos, I must add a few for the more feminine audience...
Little House on the Prairie, Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters Show, and Hee Haw.
These television gems are/were best enjoyed at your grandparent's house while sitting too close to the television screen after a dinner of chicken and pastry.
Also, I vaguely remember watching V as a kid. Didn't they rip the skin off their faces?
Yep. They were lizards underneath. Lizards that ate people, or raw beef. Supposedly they're putting out a new TV adaptation in 2008.
