The Last Dragon

Surely somebody in our loyal 4KS readership is familiar with "The Last Dragon"? Sho'nuff, the Shogun of Harlem? Bruce Leroy? El Debarge?

Such a weird movie. And yet, amazing.*

*Amazing only in my 6th-grade memory. No representation of actual awesomeness should be construed.

I just had a conversation with Hillary, in which I was lamenting the fact that nobody seems to care about kung fu movies anymore. Tony Jaa is amazing. Had he been around 15 years ago, everyone would be going apeshit over him. But instead, no one really cares about him. There is a 10-minute, tracking shot in _The Protector_ that is one of the most amazing scenes ever caught on film.

Can you tell that I watched _Ong Bak 2_ last night?
