gentlemen and ladies, there is a new astra on the scene. they kick the old astra's ass.
thank you to OJ for spotlighting them; though i think he knew not what he did with reference to 4KS. OJ describes them as "floating in outer space with a flute in your hand and a sac full of acid bits", which is also a solid description of what sauce and the boyz were badly aiming for.
i feel like the world has been flipped on it's head.

i actually have this record (i think). i know i have one of them. it was part of the big prog/psych box my cousin burnt for me. meant to comment on it. can't confirm whether it is or is not better than the athens version.

I meant to text you when DJ told me about them the other day. Awesome. Remember when I was trying to give sauce fashion advice and he wasn't havin it? I think if he had changed the image, his band would have had a chance at maybe aiming for the other Astra, but oh well. "Sacful of acid bits," is about as meaninful as "roachclip full of pcp oil."
this record is good. just listened today. confirmed.
